Renowned perfumer, Parfums de Marly, has created yet another magnificent fragrance that salutes the proud history of the majestic horse. The brand’s latest offering, Byerley, has been so named after one of the earliest of three stallions that were the founders of the modern Thoroughbred horse racing bloodstock. According to legend, the dark brown stallion was born during a thunderstorm; he did not fear the sounds of cannons or gunfire and thus made a fearsome war horse.
Developing a perfume that was memorable and had heart was no easy task but there was no better inspiration than the distinguishing character of the mighty Byerley horse, having played a remarkable role in Europe’s history.
Byerley boasts of top notes of Bergamot and Cardamom and moves on to become more sensual with a combination of woody notes. All in all, the heavenly mixture of notes brings out a rich, elegant and long-lasting signature.
With this latest addition, Parfums de Marly continues to constitute an eternal monument to some of the most marvelous creatures in the world.
